Brian's Photo Album

Before I went out to LA for IMTA in January 2004, I had a photo shoot to get new headshots and comp cards. The director of JRP (the acting school I go to) liked my pictures, so she entered them in the Commercial Print Competition; I ended up getting 5th runner-up out of over 100 entrants, so I guess they came out pretty good (even if they've got my mug on 'em.)

"Affiliated" is a little TV show I'm in that shows on the local VSU TV station here. I play Harvey Baxter, lead anchorman for KRAP News. Oh, and he also happens to be a huge hypochondriac.

Here are some stills from Black Widow, my first attempt at a feature film. There's some production stills & shots from rehearsals, and candid shots of cast and crew. Unfortunately, the film fell through and was never completed. I'm not planning to try to reshoot it; I was never fully happy with the script, and I've got a few others that I'm working on that I'm much more excited about.

Here are a few shots from the set of a music video I was shooting for Bain Mattox's "In Dreams." It wasn't an official video; I had spoken with their manager about using one of their songs in Black Widow and she asked to see an example of my work; seemed like a wiser choice to shoot something new than send them a copy of Small Problems. She did say that they liked it, though, so that's cool. Eventually I'll add some shots from the actual video in here.

The first short film I ever did was a goofy little thing called Small Problems, about a group of people who bring a bunch of lawn gnomes to life and are subsequently trapped in their home. It's no Dodgeball, but it was a lot of fun to do, and I learned a lot from the experience. I'll post some stills from the video in here once I can dig them up.

"Truth Hurts" is a short film that Paige, Sean, & I shot on 3/16/06. I only remembered to get stills of the opening shots, but once I start editing I'll pull off some screenshots to fill this album up a bit more.
